Mine is the first solo at 5:32 – 5:54, followed by Pin from Sikth and then Derya Nagle. Then solo became popularized on youTube after it was transcribed by fan Adam “Nolly” Getgood. Featured as “Ones to watch in 2010” in Rock Sound magazine, London’s The Safety Fire merge complex and technical progressive metal with expansive atmospheres and soaring melodies. Drawing influences from the likes of Textures, Between the Buried and Me and Kaki King, The Safety Fire’s debut EP “Sections” is a taste of the great things to come from this ferocious and dynamic quintet.
