Here we have an example which uses single note rhythmic riffing, embellished by some frenzied alternate picking and finishing with a melodic sounding harmony arrangement in bars 7 and 8. Again the tempo is way up at 200Bpm and there is no room for error in order to get the timing consistent!
If you are not already well versed in the dark arts of thrash metal riffage you might want to look at the second bar and use it as an exercise in picking accuracy which in time will become an exercise in stamina. In bar 4, you have the choice to play the phrase with either the first, third and fourth fingers, or alternately the first, second and third which will be more angled. Both work well, check them out and see what you feel comfortable with.
